Event Title: Oath Taking Ceremony for Aspiring 1st Year B.Sc. Nursing and GNM Venue: T. & T.V. Institute of Nursing
The Oath Taking Ceremony for the first-year B.Sc. Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) students was held on 30th January, 2025, at T. & T.V. Institute of Nursing. The event marked an important milestone for the aspiring nurses as they took an oath to uphold the values and ethics of the nursing profession.
The ceremony began with the anchor addressing the attendees, welcoming the distinguished guests, faculty, and students.
The Oath Taking Ceremony was honoured by the presence of several distinguished guests who have made significant contributions to the field of nursing and healthcare. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Sevantilal Shah, the Trustee of SDVS, whose support and guidance have been instrumental in the growth and success of the institute. Mr. Hitesh Laiwala the President, also attended and shared his valuable insights on the role of nurses in society, emphasizing their vital contribution to the healthcare system. The event was further distinguished by the presence of Mr. Haresh Mehta, the Honorary Secretary, whose leadership and vision continue to drive the institute’s mission to provide excellent nursing education. Mr. Anal Merchant, the Joint Honorary Secretary, also graced the occasion, offering his support and encouragement to the students. The ceremony was additionally attended by Dr. Ankit Desai, the Hospital Chief at Venus, whose expertise and leadership in healthcare administration serve as an inspiration to the nursing community. Mr. Ullas Uddayan, the Chief Nursing Officer at Venus, also participated in the ceremony, imparting valuable knowledge about nursing practices and the ethical
responsibilities that nurses must uphold. Moreover, Mr. Kiran Domadia sir, Principal, T.&.T.V. Institute of Nursing along with Vice Principal, Mr. Jimmy James Mogaria also joined the lamp lighting ceremony. The collective wisdom and guidance of these esteemed guests helped set a tone of dedication, professionalism, and compassion for the students as they embarked on their nursing careers. Their presence at the ceremony not only honored the students but also reinforced the importance of their chosen path in the healthcare field.
The students added a spiritual touch to the ceremony by performing a prayer song. The song was sung by:

The 1st-year B.Sc. Nursing and GNM students took the nurse’s oath, pledging to serve humanity, maintain the dignity of the profession, and adhere to ethical principles.
