T. & T.V. Nursing College, Surat, celebrated its Annual Day 2024 with great enthusiasm on 29th November. The theme for this year’s celebration was “Hollywood Oscar Party, ” bringing glamour and excitement to the event.
Formal Function Highlights
The formal function commenced with an oral welcome to the esteemed guests, faculty, students, and parents, setting a warm and inviting tone for the evening. The following key events were part of the formal segment:
- Prayer: Dhruti and Krishna from B.Sc. Nursing performed a soulful prayer, seeking blessings for a successful event.
- Lamp Lighting Ceremony: Guests lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing knowledge and wisdom.
- Welcome Dance: A mesmerizing performance by the students captured the spirit of the occasion.
- Trustee’s Speech: The Trustee, Mr. Haresh Mehta sir welcomed everyone and shared the vision and achievements of the institution.
- Principal’s Speech and Annual Report: The Principal, Mr. Kiran Domadia sir presented an inspiring speech and annual report highlighting the college’s achievements, milestones, and future goals.
- Chief Guest’s Address: Ms. Saloni Viratiya, the Chief Guest, delivered a motivational speech, appreciating the students and faculty for their dedication.
- Prize Distribution: Awards were distributed to students for academic excellence, celebrating their hard work and achievements.
- Speech by Chelsea: The newly elected SNAI State Chairperson, Chelsea, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of leadership and community in nursing.
- Vote of Thanks by Jimmy Sir: Jimmy Sir concluded the formal function by expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the event a success.
Cultural Extravaganza
The evening transitioned into a vibrant cultural program featuring 23 captivating performances, showcasing the immense talent of the students.
Highlights included:
Group Dances: Eight group dance performances energized the audience with their choreography and creativity.
Dramas: Two drama presentations delivered powerful messages while entertaining the audience.
Solo and Duet Performances: Other performances, including solos and duets, added diversity to the cultural showcase.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Glory Peter, appreciating everyone who made the evening memorable. The celebrations ended with refreshments and a lively DJ session, leaving everyone in high spirits.
