THEME : “ NURSE – A VOICE TO LEAD INVEST IN NURSING AND  

                 RESPECT RIGHTS TO SECURE GLOBAL HEALTH ”

International Nurses Day – 2022 was celebrated in T & TV Institute of Nursing in collaboration with S.R.S.S. Venus Hospital. The programme were coordinated by Mr. Ullas Udayan ( Chief Nursing officer and Quality health ,Venus Hospital) and students of  T & TV Institute of Nursing. The main aim of the programme were to felicitate staff of S.R.S.S. Venus Hospital & students of T & TV Institute of Nursing for their tremendous work during Covid-19 pandemic. Nursing superintendent & Matron from various hospitals were invited. On the occasion of International Nurses Day celebration, drawing competition was organized on the theme of “ Nurses : A voice to lead – invest in nursing and respect rights to secure global health” as well as various activities perform by student such as singing, dance, poetry etc. The details of the programme were following.

 Morning

Mr. Haresh Mehta ( Hon. Secretary of S.D.V.S. Ashakatashram Trust ) & Mr. Anal Merchant  ( Joint Hon. Secretary of S.D.V.S. Ashakatashram Trust & Donor Representative of   T & TV Institute of Nursing) brought cake for all teaching staff. Celebration was done by cake cutting. They motivated and appreciated all the faculty. Students of T & TV Institute of nursing also celebrate nurses day by wishes & giving handmade card & bouquet to all the faculty.

Afternoon

Drawing competition was organized  on the theme of nurses day. Total 21 Students of T & TV Institute of Nursing & Staff of  S.R.S.S. Venus Hospital were actively participated in the competition. Painting of all the staff and students were display in S.R.S.S. Venus Hospital. Among staff nurses 1st and 2nd rank was given as well as from students also 1st and 2nd rank was given. Evaluation was done by open voting (Google link) for all the staff of S.R.S.S. Venus Hospital and all faculty & students of  T & TV Institute of nursing. Results of competition were declared in the evening session.

Evening

Evening programme was started at 6.30 pm in the presence of Mr. Haresh Mehta ( Hon. Secretary of S.D.V.S. Ashakatashram Trust ) & Mr. Anal Merchant  ( Joint Hon. Secretary of S.D.V.S. Ashakatashram Trust & Donor Representative of   T & TV Institute of Nursing). Padma shri Mr. Kanubhai Tailor , Founder President , Disable Welfare Trust Of India and Mr.Rohit Sharma BJP leader , superintendent and Matron from various hospital  were  the  guest of honour in a  function. The dignitaries inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp and invoked the divine blessing. Mr. Ullas Udayan welcome all the guest of the programme. As a part of celebration students of T & TV Institute of nursing and staff of S.R.S.S. Venus Hospital were perform various activities. Dance were performed by 1st  GNM & 1st year B.Sc. nursing students. A gratitude speech for nurses was given by Ms. Chelsea (1st year B.Sc. nursing student). A melodious song was sung by Mr. Shivam ( 2nd year GNM student) as well as Ms. Usha ( staff). A motivational speech was given by Ms. Ekta & Ms. Vini ( 2nd year B.Sc. nursing student ) on nurses empowerment. To felicitate the  Nurses(S.R.S.S. Venus Hospital)  and students (T & TV Institute of nursing) for their tremendous work during covid-19 pandemic. Mr. Kanubhai Tailor  delivered their valuable insights about the noble profession with their speech and inspired the staff & students. Mr. Rohit Sharma also motivate the staff  as well as  students  thorough motivational speech.

Drawing competition result were declared and prize was given to winner as well as praise the all participants. In staff  nurses 1st rank secured by Ms. Nilam Goyani and 2nd rank secured by Ms. Pratiksha Parmar. In students 1st rank secured by Ms. Krupa Makwana  (2nd year B. Sc. Nursing ) and 2nd rank secured by Ms. Dhruvi Patel (1st year B. Sc. Nursing ). Refreshment was given and end the programme with small DJ party.
