World No Tobacco Day Theme Was: “PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT”
On 31St May, 2022 First year M.Sc. & Third year GNM Students have celebrated the WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY at
Simmer Hospital, Surat at 11:00 a.m.
The programme co-ordinator was Ms. Bhoomika Chaudhari and assisted by Ms. Ankita Patel & Ms.
Roshni Chaudhari.
The programme activity contains mass health education programme by Speech on No tobacco, Role play, Oath taken
by present all people and Poster presentation.
- Speech:
Speech was given by 3rd year GNM student Smart Angelina regarding awareness of no tobacco. - Role Play:
The Role play was performed by 3rd year GNM students at OPD of simmer hospital, Surat. The moral of the Role play was to a waken the people not to get addicted & how to get rid of addiction. - Oath:
There present all 150 people was swore not to become addicted. “I will not be addicted and I will not let anyone else be addicted.”
“I will not eat tobacco and I will not go to anyone else.” - Charts:
There was total 20 numbers of charts which present world no Tobacco Day theme, disadvantages of tobacco, types of cancer due to tobacco chewing-oral cancer, lung cancer, how to quite tobacco. During this programme Nursing Superintendent, Metron, assistant nursing superintendent, deputy nursing superintendent, Head nurse, Staff nurse, patients & their relatives gave their valuable presence & appreciated students effort. - Vote of thanks:
