THEME:”USE HEART KNOW HEART”
In whole world, heart day will be celebrated on 29/09/2023 as WORLD HEART DAY and this year them was USE HEART KNOW HEART was celebrated by T. & T.V. Institute of Nursing at Smimer Hospital Surat. The programme were coordinated by Ms. Nikita Dhimmar, Ms. Nidhi Patel, Ms. Hina patel and Ms. Roshni Chaudhari faculties of T. & T.V. Institute of and S.Y.GNM students of T & T.V. Institute of Nursing under the guidance of Mr. Jimmy James Mogaria Principal of T. & T.V. Institute of Nursing The main aim of the programme were to create awareness regarding heart diseases and their prevention and management and Organ Donation. On the occasion of world heart Day celebration, awareness created by Role play and Chart exhibition on different heart disease’s causes, clinical features, prevention and treatments and their management. Around 150 people were participated. The details of the programme were following.
At 11 o’clock programme was started at smimer hospital in Medical OPD. Programme inauguration done by Chief Guest Mrs. Manisha ahir (Chairman of smimer hospital, surat), Dean of Smimer hospital,Medical Officer, Nursing Superintendent, senior RMO and In charge and Staff Nurses of OPD. Then interview conducted BY DIVYANG NEWS CHANNEL, AND interview given by S.Y GNM students Ms. Mahek Jadav and Ms. Cristina Christian on the topic awareness regarding heart disease and organ donation then Students perform role play on how to give basic life support and organ donation. And chart exhibition done on the topic of arrhythmia, hypertension, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, obesity, cardiac failure, cardiac arrest, and their management. And, At last programme was concluded by Ms. Nidhi Gohil faculties of T.V. Institute of Nursing with vote of thanks.
